Sinopsis Drama Korea The Crowned Clown
The Crowned Clown bercerita tentang kerajaan Joseon. Kala itu, Joseon sedang dalam keadaan kacau karena adanya pemberontakan dan perebutan kekuasaan di sekitar Raja Lee Hun.
Demi menghindari pembunuhan, seorang badut bernama Ha Sun dibawa ke istana untuk menggantikan Raja Lee Hun. Hasun memiliki kemiripan dengan Raja Lee Hun.
Saat Ha Sun masih kecil, dirinya kehilangan kedua orang tuanya. Ha Sun bahkan hampir mati kelaparan sat itu. Namun, ketika itu Ha Sun diselamatkan oleh sekelompok badut dan membuatnya hidup bersama.
Kini Ha Sun akan memerankan karakter Raja Lee Hun karena memiliki penampilan fisik yang serupa. Ha Sun sangat gugup menjadi orang terpenting di istana. Dia takut jika istana mengetahuinya bahwa dia bukan Raja yang sebenarnya.
Suatu ketika Ha Sun (yang sedang menyamar menjadi Raja Lee Hun) jatuh cita pada Ratu Yoo So Woon yang sangat cantik.
